Most Worshipful Grand Master, Ronnie G. Bell, is a just and upright man and Mason. He walks and acts as such. He promotes the principles of Freemasonry, friendship, morality, and brotherly love. Most Worshipful Grand Master, Ronnie G. Bell, was born in Breckinridge County, March 19, 1941. He is the son of Ray G. Bell and Dorothy Helen Bell. He is married to Ruby Bennett Bell. They have three daughters, Deborah Denise Crawford, Melissa Dell Robinson, Rhonda Sue Laslie; two granddaughters, Roni Gail Robinson and Drew Elisabeth Crawford; one grandson, Tyler Brett Robinson and two on the way. He is a member and elder of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Irvington, Kentucky. Brother Bell grew up in a Masonic family. He is a fourth generation of Masons. His father is a Past Master of Bewleyville No. 228 and Past D.D.G.M. 1965-66, Committee on Religious Interest 1986-87, Committee on Suspensions 1990-95, Grand Senior Deacon 1997-98. His grandfather joined lodge in 1909 and his great-grandfather joined in 1881. He also has several cousins that are Masons. His sister, Mary Emma is a Past Matron of Irvington OES Chapter No. 544, where he and Ruby were Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron in 1993-94 and 1994-95. Brother Bell received his RAM Degree on November 4, 1989 in Bowling Green Chapter No. 38, his R.&S.M. Degree March 4, 1989 in Bowling Green Council No. 74. He received the Order of Knighthood November 4,1989 in Bowling Green Commandery No. 23, the Consistory Degree June 12, 1993 in Louisville and received the Ceremonies of A.A.O.N.M.S. on June 11,1994 at the Kosair Shrine Temple. He was appointed Grand Representative to the Grand Lodge of Romania in 1996. Brother Bell has served the Grand Lodge of Kentucky as D.D.G.M. 1983-83; Education Committee, 1990-91; Arrangements Committee, 1992-93; Grand Tiler, 1993- 94; Grand Junior Warden, 1994-95; Grand Senior Warden, 1995-96; Deputy Grand Master, 1996-97 and Grand Master, 1997-98. Brother Bell is a life member of Central Kentucky Past Masters Society. He holds a Life Membership in both Homes and the OES Home in Louisville and is a Kentucky Colonel. He proudly holds Honorary Memberships in several Lodges and OES Chapters. Brother Bell will be remembered for his love and concern for the Masonic Homes of Kentucky. He and his Lady Ruby have spent many wonderful visits to both Homes, visiting the residents and staff. He has represented the Grand Lodge of Kentucky in several out of state Grand Lodge Communications. Brother Bell has brought dignity and respect to the Grand Lodge in all his actions. We are proud of our Grand Master and we are grateful for the untiring efforts and time he has devoted to Masonry.
